SkyUp Airlines has announced its return to operations in Romania and the opening of ticket sales for the 2026 summer season. As part of the decision introduced today, March 25, 2026, the company will launch a direct flight between Bucharest and Larnaca for the second year in a row.
The line, which will connect Bucharest Otopeni Airport and Larnaca in Cyprus, will operate with a frequency of one weekly flight on Wednesdays, starting on June 3, 2026, and throughout the summer season.
According to the company's data, in the previous operating season, SkyUp flew nearly 44,000 passengers on its routes in Romania, a figure indicating stable demand for the route and destination. The company notes that the expansion of the route network in Europe continues, alongside the constant examination of market trends and the adaptation of the offer to passenger needs.
Flight tickets are already available for sale on the company's website.
