LOT Polish Airlines officially launched its first nonstop service connecting Warsaw to San Francisco on May 6, 2026, marking another major expansion of the carrier’s growing North American network, which now includes six routes, counting Chicago, New York, Newark, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Photo: LOT Polish Airlines The new transatlantic flight will operate throughout the 2026 summer season with up to four flights per week between Warsaw Chopin Airport and San Francisco International Airport.
Flight schedule
Flights from Warsaw to San Francisco are scheduled through October 22, 2026 via Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with the journey taking approximately 11 and a half hours.
-Flight LO35 departs Warsaw on Thursdays and Sundays at 11:15 a.m.
-Flight LO37 operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 5:40 p.m.
-Return flights from California LO36 leaves San Francisco at 3:50 p.m.
-Return flight LO38 departs San Francisco at 10:15 p.m.
“Today’s launch of the Warsaw San Francisco service is more than an expansion of our route network. It is an investment in a route that connects business, innovation and global ambition,” said Robert Ludera, Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer at LOT Polish Airlines.
He added that the route is expected to strengthen economic and business ties between Poland, Central and Eastern Europe, and the US West Coast, while also boosting tourism.
