Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced today (Monday, February 25, 2026) a significant expansion of its European operations for the current summer season. The company will increase the frequency of flights between Singapore and Amsterdam to 10 per week, up from the current schedule of one daily flight (7 per week).

The increased flight frequency will take effect from August 1 and will continue at this stage until October 22, 2026. The company notes that the move, subject to regulatory approvals, follows a significant surge in demand for connecting flights and for business travel between Asia-Pacific countries and continental Europe. Tickets for the new flights are available for purchase starting today.

The New Flight Schedule

The additional flights (flight number SQ334) will depart Singapore on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:10 a.m. (local time) and arrive in Amsterdam at 6:35 p.m. The return flights (SQ333) will depart Amsterdam on the same days at 8:35 p.m. and arrive in Singapore the following day at 3:40 p.m.

The new flights will be operated using Airbus A350-900 aircraft (in the long-range version), while the regular daily flights (SQ324/323) will temporarily be operated using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft starting this July.

The Amsterdam route boost is part of a broader move by Singapore Airlines to strengthen its presence in the European market. The company recently launched a new five-week flight to Madrid (via Barcelona), increased the frequency of flights to Manchester and Milan to daily, increased the number of flights to Munich to 10 weekly flights, and doubled the route to London Gatwick (two daily flights).

Dai Haoyu, Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines, said: “Amsterdam has an important role in our broader European network. Through our Singapore hub, we connect travellers from the Asia-Pacific and beyond seamlessly, helping to meet the strong demand on this route. This increase in frequencies reflects our confidence in the route’s long-term potential, and we will seek opportunities to extend it beyond October 2026.”
