Wizz Air is expanding its winter network from the Czech Republic with the launch of a new direct route between Prague and Turin, giving travelers easier access to one of northern Italy's main gateways to the Alps.

According to Prague Airport, the new service will begin on January 16, 2027, and will operate once a week on Saturdays, making it a convenient option for weekend and week-long ski holidays in the Western Alps.

Turin is widely regarded as one of the best entry points for some of Italy's most popular ski resorts, offering connections to destinations across the Piedmont region as well as neighboring alpine areas.

The new route is aimed at travelers planning winter sports holidays, with Prague Airport encouraging passengers to book early for the 2026–27 ski season.

The addition further strengthens Wizz Air's network from Prague, providing another direct link to Italy, one of the most popular destinations for Czech travelers during both the winter and summer seasons.

The new Prague–Turin service is part of Wizz Air's wider expansion in northern Italy. Earlier this year, the airline opened a new operating base at Turin Airport, its seventh in Italy and 40th worldwide, with plans to serve 16 routes to eight countries and offer nearly 1.3 million seats from the Piedmont city during 2026.
