Emirates is celebrating the height of the British summer by bringing back its popular seasonal strawberry menu on flights between Dubai and the United Kingdom from July 13 through July 31, 2026.

The limited-time offering follows the airline's recently introduced Wimbledon-inspired menu and features a range of strawberry-based desserts across every cabin class. Designed to showcase one of Britain's most iconic summer fruits, the menu highlights classic flavors while incorporating premium ingredients sourced from the UAE.

Passengers traveling from Dubai to the UK will enjoy different desserts depending on their cabin. First Class customers will be served honey cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream, while Business and Premium Economy passengers can choose a strawberry tart with pistachio sauce. Economy Class travelers will receive cream cheese mousse with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel.

The return journey from the UK to Dubai features an entirely different selection. First Class customers can enjoy the traditional British dessert Eton Mess with meringue, mascarpone cream, and strawberry compote. Business Class passengers will be served white chocolate cheesecake with strawberry and basil confit, while Premium Economy offers strawberry panna cotta with strawberry coulis. Economy travelers will receive strawberry cheesecake topped with crumble.

The airline said it has selected the Monterrey strawberry variety for this year's menu, known for its rich sweetness and vibrant color. More than 10 kilograms of strawberries are supplied to Emirates flights each day from Bustanica, the world's largest indoor vertical farm and a venture co-owned by Emirates.

According to the airline, the strawberries are harvested and served onboard within 12 hours, helping preserve freshness while supporting more sustainable food production through advanced hydroponic farming technology that uses significantly less water than conventional agriculture.

Passengers traveling aboard the Emirates A380 can also enjoy seasonal treats in the aircraft's famous Onboard Lounge, including fresh strawberries with cream, strawberry lemon cake, and a selection of strawberry-inspired cocktails and mocktails.

Beyond the onboard experience, Emirates SkyCargo continues to play an important role in exporting British strawberries to international markets. Since March 2026, the cargo division has transported more than 230 tonnes of British strawberries from the UK to the UAE, equal to around 12 million strawberries, using its dedicated freighter services and passenger network to ensure the fruit arrives fresh.

The seasonal menu is part of Emirates' ongoing strategy to celebrate local cultures and seasonal ingredients while offering destination-inspired dining experiences across its global network.
