The operator of Václav Havel Airport Prague announced the achievement on social media, thanking travelers and airport employees for contributing to one of the busiest periods in the airport's history.

The milestone reflects the ongoing recovery and expansion of the aviation sector, with Prague remaining a popular gateway for both leisure and business travelers. The airport has continued to expand its route network in recent years, offering new connections across Europe and beyond.
In July, SkyAlps announced the launch of twice-weekly winter flights between Prague and Bolzano starting December 2026, giving passengers direct access to northern Italy's Alpine ski region.
Eurowings also announced it will launch a seasonal route from Prague to Rovaniemi, Finland, giving travelers access to mesmerizing Lapland.
Also in July, flyadeal, the low-cost airline from the Saudia Group, started operating direct flights between the Czech capital and Riyadh.
Airport officials noted that passenger demand shows "no signs of waning," highlighting strong interest in international travel as the summer season reaches its peak.
