Now, MSC Cruises is back with equally exciting news about the iconic ship: Dirty Dancing: In Concert, a live-to-film concert courtesy of Lionsgate and GEA Live, is coming to MSC Poesia for the summer season in Alaska, starting May 11, 2026.

Photo: MSC CruisesThis way, MSC Poesia will become the third ship in the major cruise line’s fleet to feature the hit live-to-film concert, amid its successful public reception aboard MSC World America sailing from Miami in the US and on MSC Virtuosa for summer sailings from Southampton in the UK.
The 90-minute concert will carry on on MSC Virtuosa during the winter season, scheduled for the Southern Caribbean. The mesmerizing show will bring Lionsgate’s popular 80s film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey to life, with help from a skilled live band and sensational "sensational dancers" who will perform in sync with the movie.
Guests can watch the unique show during matinee showings on sea days. In addition to the concert, guests can enjoy other world-class entertainment options, including live music (MSC Dueling Pianos), party bands, salsa, and Latin music groups.
Guests of the MSC Yacht Club will benefit from an "elegant music programme and piano host exclusively based in the Top Sail Lounge." The schedule also includes themed parties, an expanded theatre lineup featuring comedians, large-scale shows performed by an "outstanding multi-skilled cast", wellness sessions, sports activities, arts & crafts workshops, expert talks, narrated events, and hands-on workshops.
