Winter weather continues to disrupt schedules at airports around the world, not only in North America but also in Europe.
Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) issued a special statement today (January 26, 2026): "Due to weather conditions, there may be delays in travel and air traffic, as well as flight cancellations."
The airport also advised passengers to "check the transport routes" as well as the flight status through their airlines.
Many delays and cancellations were already reported at the airport in the morning.
Meanwhile, as we reported earlier today, according to reports in the United States, tens of thousands of flights have already been canceled since the start of the severe storm that is affecting large parts of North America.
Air Canada has also issued warnings for Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) and Montréal-Trudeau Airports (YUL): "Extreme cold is causing delays. If your plans are flexible, you can change your flight at no cost. Simply retrieve your booking directly on our website or go to your Air Canada App."
