Air Canada will resume its direct flights between Montreal and Tel Aviv in the summer of 2026. The seasonal route will be operated until April using a Triple 7 aircraft, and then with Boeing 787 Dreamliners during the summer, complementing the recently renewed Toronto to Tel Aviv route.

The seasonal flight schedule will operate from Montreal to Tel Aviv on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays until April 2026.

Flights are now available for booking, offering a convenient connection between Canada and Israel for the coming summer.

On the Triple 7 aircraft, which will be used for winter flights until April, passengers can choose from first class, business, and economy.

Starting in the summer season, five weekly flights (Sunday to Thursday) will be operated with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner featuring business and economy classes.

According to the company, operating the Boeing 787 Dreamliner ensures a comfortable flight experience with premium and economy classes.

It is worth mentioning that Air Canada landed in Israel about two months ago after an extended break due to security concerns and resumed the direct route between Toronto and Tel Aviv. This is one of the company's main routes to the Israeli market, serving thousands of passengers monthly, including tourists, businesspeople, and members of the large Jewish community in Canada.

On the Toronto to Tel Aviv route, the company operates four weekly flights during the winter and five weekly flights during the summer, in addition to flights to Montreal, resulting in seven weekly flights from Canada to Israel starting in June.

Additionally, since the outbreak of the war, the company had not operated flights from Montreal to Tel Aviv, and it first resumed its Toronto to Israel flights briefly in April 2024. However, due to an attack from Iran, they were canceled, and as mentioned, only two months ago, they were resumed.

It should be noted that the renewal comes after a long period with no active direct route between Israel and Canada, following El Al canceled its flights to Toronto in 2022.

Network Expansion

In addition to the route to Israel, Air Canada is significantly expanding its international network in the summer of 2026. As we previously reported, the company is launching new flights from Montreal to Berlin and Nantes, from Toronto to Ponta Delgada in the Azores, and from Halifax to Brussels.

According to the company, with these additions, it will offer the second-largest transatlantic network in North America for the upcoming summer season.
