United Airlines will resume direct flights between the United States and Venezuela this August, for the first time since 2017, with a daily flight on a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The renewal of the route is expected to strengthen economic ties between the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, and it follows American Airlines' similar announcement on the resumption of flights connecting the two countries
